We offer all kind of musical ensembles and varied entertainment. Whether you are looking for one musician, dancer, chamber orchestra or a DJ - we provide you with the best music and entertainers in the NY area.

 

Our team members are committed and passionate about music and their respective artistic careers. Our staff is professional and has been educated at the most prestigious institutions in the world, including the Eastman School of Music, Moscow Conservatory, Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Stony-brook University, and a host of others. Our Jazz musicians have performed in the most popular NY Jazz Clubs such as “Blue note”. Our featured bands and hosts are world class singers and players that have provided live music at events for over 30 years throughout the United States. 

 

Various members have even won Grammy Awards and top-level competitions. The DJ’s that collaborate with us are experienced professionals mixing tracks in the best clubs in New York City. Our musical selections cover genres from classical to Broadway, jazz, pop, Latin, R&B, dance club, rock, hip hop and many more. We are open to song requests and love the idea of delighting our customers with their favorite tunes. When it comes to hire a musician, dancer or band, people have different preferences and budgets so we make sure to offer a package that will fully satisfy our client’s taste and affordability.

Olga Turkina (violin)

Founder and Director

Olga's ability and diverse style performance has been enriched by more than a decade of regular performances with various musical ensembles throughout the New York Area. Her love for music and desire in sharing her music with her audiences has led her to offer music and entertainment services, in collaboration with her colleagues and highly trained professionals.

 

Olga Turkina is an Eastman School of Music Graduate in Violin performance and has competed internationally and won numerous awards. Olga grew up in a musical family in Mexico where she began to play violin when she was 8 and by the time she was 12 she was already performing as a soloist with numerous orchestras.

She has participated in numerous festivals throughout Europe and USA. Currently Olga resides on Long Island, NY, where she is an active concert violinist, teacher, and member of various orchestras throughout the Tri-State area and PA.

 

NY Music Entertainment and Olga’s performances leave her clients fulfilled and with unforgettable memories.

Philipp Petkov (piano)

Philipp Petkov was born in Baranovichi, Belarus and began piano studies at the age of six.  In 1996, he entered the National School of Arts “Veselin Stoyanov” in Rousse, Bulgaria, where he studied solfege, theory, harmony, and piano with Veselinka Ivanova and Daniela Kjurkchieva.  In Bulgaria, he competed in many festivals and competition winning several awards and distinctions including three 1st prizes (two for chamber music) at the “International Music Festival:  Hope, Talents and Masters” (1999, 2002). He also took top prizes at the ”International Competition for Piano Six Hands” at Marktoberdorf, Germany (2002) and the “Alexander Scriabin National Piano Competition”,  Sofia,  Bulgaria (2003).

 

In 2004 Philipp was discovered by Tamara Poddubnaya and brought to the U.S. to study with her at the Long Island Conservatory.  Since then, Philipp has maintained an active performance and competition schedule and has won 1st prizes at the “2004 LISMA International Music Competition”, New York, “2005 Morgan Park Summer Music Festival”, New York, “2011 Nelly Berman School of Music Competition”, Philadelphia and Grand Prix at “2015 International Competition Musical Fireworks at Baden-Wurttemberg”, Germany. In 2008, he performed in Russia as a soloist with “Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra” at the “Saint Petersburg Grand Hall”.

Students of Mr. Petkov’s successful piano studio have been winners of many competitions and have been performing in concerts and events in the New York metropolitan area. Philipp has been invited to adjudicate important events such as “The 2nd Annual Kenneth A. Darrell Memorial Piano Competition” in Nashua, NH, 2011, “Greenwich House Music School Competition” in NY, 2012 and “Music Without Borders” in Bethel, ME, 2016.

Since 2010, Philipp and his wife Olga Tourkina have been performing together as a violin-piano chamber duo and the duet gave various performances in the United States, Russia and Mexico. Mr. Petkov is currently working as an organist at “Our Holly Redeemer Church”, Freeport, NY and since 2012 is under the management of “Gino Moratti and Associates”.

Anastasia Rodriguez (cello)

Born in Saint Petersburg,Russia Ms.Rodriguez started her performing career during her studies in Petrozavodsk state conservatory. By the age of 17 she has been accepted in Karelian state philharmonic orchestra. A winner of many prestigious competitions in Europe in 2010 she was selected as a soloist and performed concerto of Elgar with Saint Petersburg State symphony orchestra in Belozersky Palace, Saint Petersburg.

 

In 2012 Ms.Rodriguez moved to New York to continue her studies with George Genovker, Mstislav Rostropovich's student. At 2013 she was a principal cellist of the world Youth Orchestra, New York and co-principal of South Florida Symphony Orchestra, 2015-2017, Florida. She continues to perform as a soloist and as a part  of chamber ensembles and orchestras.

Alexandra Andrews (viola)

Alexandra Andrews is one of the most promising violists of our time.

She graduated from Moscow State Conservatory. 2016 - Winner, International Competition “The Pearl of Russia”

2016 - Winner, International Competition “Young performers” dedicated to

S. Prokofiev

2015 - Summer Academy Chigiana in Siena, Italy in studio by Yuri Bashmet

2014 - Participant in Festival “Stars on the Baikal”, Siberia

2011-16 - Took masterclasses with such great musicians as Michael Kugel, Yuri Bashmet, Nobuko Imai, Kim Kashkashian, Viktoria Mullova and others.

The list of countries that she visited with concerts counts in the tens. There are such countries as Spain, Colombia, Korea, England, Italy, Tunisia, Qatar, Israel, China, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, the USA and others. 

Now Alexandra is based in New York having received a $30,000 scholarship to study at the New School.

Alexandra Calabro (violin)

Alexandra Calabro holds a BM in violin performance from LIU Post, where she was concertmaster for her entire time as a student there. She is a student of Dr. Dale Stuckenbruck, with whom she frequently performs innovative programs, including world music and early music.

 

Alexandra has performed in numerous venues all over the tri-state area, as well as internationally. Alexandra maintains a career as a full time freelance musician, playing chamber music, orchestral repertoire, solo pieces, event music, as well as teaching privately and in schools in the Nassau County area.

Alexander Butov Derenboim

Born - November 1, 1960

Education - Music Institute , Russia

Major - Music Composition / Theory of music  and Concerto Pianist.

 

My first music publications in Television and Theatre was  realized in 1981. Shortly afterwards, touring and  musical performance became an important part of my  career. My work  proliferated in various  Dramatic Entertainment Theaters  and Philharmonic Establishments throughout Russia and Europe until 1989 during the last years of the Soviet Union. 

 

Following those events my career led me  to the United States where I continued to write music, to initiate "AB Studio Production" and “Bremens Band” .

David Galvez, (classical guitarist)

A native of Lima, Peru, David Galvez has performed solo and chamber recitals

throughout the United States, including the Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall in

NYC, and South America, including Mexico, Chile, Venezuela, Paraguay, and his native Peru. He has also performed as a guest soloist with the Manhattan

Philharmonic Orchestra, The National Symphony Orchestra and the Trujillo

Orchestra of Peru.

He has performed and recorded duets with the renowned tenor Juan Diego

Florez and the Fortworth Symphony Orchestra for the Decca London Music

Label. He is also an accomplished music arranger and some of his works have

been published by Lathkill Publication from the United Kingdom.

Mr. David was the first classical guitarist to win the prestigious Edwin & Leigh

Concerto Competition in New York City. He has also received top winner prizes in the Schadt String Competition in Pennsylvania in two consecutive times and also won the National Guitar Competition “Jeunesses Musicales”.

Gálvez studied at the National Conservatory of Lima and went on to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music at the Manhattan (New York) School of Music. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in communication science from the Peru’s Lima University.

David is currently a guitar professor at the Long Island Conservatory in Long

Island New York.
